The bride and groom wore SS Daley – and custom shoes – for their London Town Hall wedding

Despite a few moments of unavoidable stress, it was “very fun to see it all come together”, he continues. “Especially for Daniel, who has a strong creative eye, so he knew exactly what level of taste he wanted down to the smallest detail. From the amount of blue velvet ribbon that adorned the napkins on the table, to the marbled paper wrapped by hand on our favor boxes – everything will forever be on our minds,” says Jonny.

The ceremony took place in Westminster Room at the old Marylebone Town Hall, near the couple’s home, and then black cabs ferried the wedding party and guests to the Foundling Museum for the cocktail hour. “It was the most stunning combination of classic London history, architecture and art as a backdrop, combined with some very beautiful floristry from our dear friend and florist extraordinaire, Rachael Barker,” says Jonny. “His tablescape for our two long banquet tables was so beautiful I burst into tears when I saw it all come together.”

The party didn’t stop there: after a three-course feast prepared by Bovingdons Catering and a series of emotional speeches, everyone decamped to The Londoner for a disco dance in the Green Room, where the couple’s friend Charles Oak is director. “DJ Fat Tony and Lou Hayter played two amazing sets, which had everyone dancing all night until the very end.”

Looking back, the newlyweds don’t regret taking over the planning themselves. “There were a few hiccups that day, but no one really noticed and it always will,” says Jonny. “Just ride it and enjoy the moment because it’s all over so quickly!” Overall, he says, “Everything was perfect.”
