Historic Inchndamph Lodge for Sale
A HISTORIC property in Assynt has been put on the market.
Inchnadamph Lodge, located at the eastern end of Loch Assynt, is marketed by Amazing Results estate agents.
The listed three-storey Category B building is 200 years old and originally built as a rectory. It was acquired by Lord and Lady Rootes as a Scottish hunting lodge in the 1960s before being purchased by the Vestey family.
The current owner bought it in 1995 and managed it as an independent hostel and B&B. It has been an extremely popular base for individuals as well as for groups, especially international geology students and mountaineering clubs.
Included in the sale is a three-bedroom bungalow, located in the old walled garden of the old presbytery and built in 1972; and a stone building with three independent apartments.
The expanse of property and land covers approximately six acres.
Estate agents say Inhnadamph Lodge, which is near Ardvreck Castle, offers an “incredible opportunity” to own a well-established inn on the North Coast 500 tourist route.
Bids over £ 849,000 are invited. For more information visit www.amazingresults.com
